Charleston Trip - Saturday

Last weekend we took a trip to Charleston to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, and we ate and drank our way through the city (but we also walked many miles of beautiful streets looking at houses to make up for some of those calories).

We stayed at the Meeting Street Inn, a cute historic hotel close to everything and with tons of charm and character.

Every evening they have a wine and cheese hour for all the guests - a nice little touch!

Saturday night we went to Hank's Seafood for dinner.  The guys started with some oysters...

...and the ladies shared seared ahi tuna, fried green tomatoes, and arugula salad.

For my entree, I had an amazing dish of shrimp and grits.

Afterward we walked along Waterfront Park and took in some of the sights (and some selfies).

After a nightcap (or two) we rested up for more fun the next day!
