Patio Inspo

I've been playing around on Polyvore this morning to get inspired for a project on our patio.  We have a wonderful poured concrete patio with a built-in brick grill/chimney, but there's no lighting around it.  I really want to utilize that space more for dinner parties, but it's difficult once the sun goes down.  I'm currently doing research on some DIY bistro light projects, and think I'll start off with this one from Bright July.  I've mulled this over in my head awhile and have been stuck on the Quickrete + Planters base idea, but I like the simplicity (and budget!) of the PVC + conduit plan they used much better.  If it doesn't work out, I'll only be out the cost of the PVC!
